Previous parking record set in June
A German stunt driver has broken the world record for tightest parallel parking job by drifting into a space 14 cm (5.5 inches) longer than his car.
Ronny Weschelberger – a.k.a. Ronny C' Rock – pulled off the stunt in a Volkswagen Up! this past June, but just recently had the record certified by Guinness.
The old record, set by Chinese driver Han Yue in a MINI Cooper, was certified just this past June. Yue'd left a total 15 cm between his bumpers and the cars in front and behind him.
