The crossover utility vehicle (CUV from here), on the other hand, has the expanded cargo room and increased ground clearance of an SUV, but attempts better fuel economy and less of a “screw you, I’m bigger” attitude. Honda’s foray into this burgeoning market, the Accord Crosstour, is a solid offering with eye-catching looks and all the benefits of the sturdy Accord platform but with available 4WD.
2010 Buick LaCrosse : Modern Lux
There’s no confusing the 2010 LaCrosse for its predecessor, the uninspiring Buick Allure and its airport rental car aesthetics. To put it simply, the LaCrosse is a gorgeous vehicle with great presence. An elegant waterfall grille anchors a striking exterior with contoured side panels giving way to bold wheel arches. GM architects and engineers from China, Europe and North America collaborated on the design and in spite of the multiple influences, the LaCrosse manages to retain an polished and cohesive look.
