LP700-4 Roadster roof removed manually
Lamborghini announced November 12 a Roadster version of their popular Aventador LP700-4 coupe would be hitting showrooms soon.
The Aventador LP700-4 Roadster comes with a two-piece carbon fibre roof designed to be removed and installed manually — the process is simple, the Italian automaker assures. Both pieces fit in the front luggage compartment.
The Roadster comes, too, with a powered rear window and a removable front wind deflector.
Mechanically the Aventador LP700-4 Roadster mirrors the coupe, with power coming from the same 6.5-litre 700-horsepower V12 and zero-to-100 km/h times and top speeds in the same range as the fixed-roof car (3.0 seconds, and 350 km/h [217 mph], respectively).
The Aventador Roadster will sell in Europe for roughly 300,000 Euro ($381,000) before tax; Canadian market pricing should be revealed shortly.
