London spot sold for the price of a Ferrari
An unnamed, but obviously affluent driver in the UK has ponied up some $300,000 Cdn. for a parking space in London.
The most ever paid for a space in Britain, it's located in the Knightsbridge neighbourhood, directly across from the famed Harrods department store.
According to the Small World News Service, the underground space has 24-hour security and the news site quotes a realtor who says "the space can 'easily' accommodate 'a large vehicle or alternatively, two smaller vehicles'."
The kicker here? The wealthy motorist who bought the space still has to pay an $1,100 annual service charge for the parking spot.
