Coming Xbox game will mark the digital debut of BMW's next uber-sedan

When Forza Motorsport 4 launches this fall, it will be the first video game to offer players a chance to drive the new 2012 BMW M5.

As part of a Limited Collector’s Edition ($79.99 CDN), the new M5 - BMW's most powerful production sedan ever - will be available for download as part of a “BMW M5 Fan Pack,” from the online Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Players will also be able to experience Autovista mode, where Top Gear’s own Jeremy Clarkson takes fans on a virtual tour of the world’s most sought-after cars.

The automaker is also partnering with Forza Motorsport 4's developers, Turn 10 Studios, for a Design Challenge, inspired by its own world-renowned BMW Art Car program. The contest asks artist to craft an original piece based on a digital version of the 2010 BMW M6 Coupe, with the winning entry being added digitally to the racing game.
