Platform problem meant loading demo with FFs cancelled
Boeing was left red-faced last weekend when a demo of its new freight aircraft featuring brand new Ferraris had to be cancelled.
The epic aircraft fail happened at the massive, annual Paris Air Show, where the U.S. aviation giant was to demonstrate the cargo capabilities of its new 747-8 Freighter. The pair of Ferrari FFs were to be loaded into the hold in a live demonstration, but according to flightglobal.com, a faulty loading platform kiboshed the event.
At least Boeing had the good sense to pose the Ferraris majestically alongside its aircraft afterwards.
