High-end electric sedan to challenge Tesla?

Want to buy a luxury electric sedan and can't wait for the Tesla Model S to show up this fall? Fisker Automotive has just announced they'll be bringing their Karma to Canada.

They didn't say when, but since they probably plan on competing with Tesla, we're betting it's gonna be sooner rather than later.

Fisker's partnered with the Dilawri Group on dealerships and distribution in Calgary and Toronto; the Fields Group will help them with distribution in Vancouver.

Pricing on the Karma will probably be just north of $100,000, but the luxury sedan will be eligible for electric car rebates from the Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia provincial governments (expect them to knock off up to $8,500 from the price).
